Eastern philosophy poses the idea that opposing or seemingly contrary forces are interconnected in the natural world – darkness/light, sadness/happiness and death/light. Encompassing these ideas, and subverting popular childhood memories of innocent fairy stories and magical forest scenery, this collection brings together a fun and comical sense of the realities of human existence, with macabre undertones.
