This collection takes inspiration from a scene in 'The Little Mermaid' by Hans Christian Andersen. At the end of the story, the little mermaid turns into a spirit as she throws herself into the sea, and her body dissolves into foam. The mermaid longed for the sea, and became lost in her recollections of herself as a mermaid.
“Distant Memories of Mermaid” depicts the fragments of her memories when she was in the sea, long, long ago.
